About Peaceful Deen
Peaceful Deen CIC is a community-focused organisation based in Hastings, dedicated to promoting understanding, education, community engagement and positive social impact.
We believe that meaningful conversations, strong relationships and active participation within our communities are among the most effective ways to build understanding and bring people together.
Through educational activities, outreach projects, volunteering opportunities and community partnerships, we aim to create spaces where people of all backgrounds can learn, engage and contribute positively to society.
Our work is rooted in the Islamic values of compassion, service, justice, respect and personal responsibility. These values inspire us to support individuals, strengthen communities and encourage positive engagement between people of different faiths, cultures and backgrounds.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Peaceful Deen exists to benefit the wider community. Any surplus generated through our activities is reinvested into expanding our programmes, developing new initiatives and increasing the positive impact of our work.
Alongside our community projects, Peaceful Deen operates a small retail offering of Islamic products and resources. This forms a minor part of our overall work and helps contribute towards the long-term sustainability of our community benefit activities.
